Zimbabwe: Tsvangirai in Nairobi

MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai arrived in Nairobi, Kenya yesterday where he is due to address the National Convention for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) today. Mr Tsvangirai was received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by the Minister for Public Health who is also the Secretary General for the ODM, Anyang Nyong'o.

His party said in a statement that he would hold a briefing with Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga today, before proceeding to make a special address to the ODM National Convention.

Mr Tsvangirai is accompanied by party officials Mrs Theresa Makone, Mr Jameson Timba and other officials.

He was expected to engage the business community in Nairobi with a view to luring investment and enhance economic co-operation with Zimbabwe.
