The doctor's union has appealed to the ministry of health to register the nurses union so that they end their strike. KMPDU secretary general Suleiman Matendechere says patients are suffering due to the strike,adding that lives are at risk if the matter is not resolved soon. Meanwhile members of the civil servants workers union have termed the strike as illegal. Here is Albert Njeru from the union
