Nigeria: PDP Tackles Lagos Assembly Speaker Over Traffic Law

Lagos — The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has flayed the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, and other lawmakers in the state for what he described as their refusal to reverse the newly enacted traffic law in the state.

In a statement, the party's publicity secretary, Taofik Gani, said rather than ask law enforcement agents, especially the police to be moderate in enforcing the law, the Assembly should be bold enough to review the new law.
