Gammarth — "Shared Anti-Corruption Vision: Mobilising Actors and Initiating Choices," is the theme of an international forum whose works started on Thursday, in Gammarth, with attendance of a group of Tunisian and foreign experts as well as representatives of United National authorities.
On this occasion, National Constituent Assembly Speaker (NCA) Mustapha Ben Jaafar underlined the need to establish a coherent anti-corruption system for "the consecration of good governance that rests on the rule of law and separation of powers, while striving to anchor democracy in practice and materialising social justice."
He also underscored the importance of paying greater attention to the oversight structures and the assessment and follow-up tools, as well as to modernising the investigative mechanism into the corruption files.
