Gambia: Dr Olugander Gears Up for Mega Welcome Back Party

After, almost 11 months sojourned criss-crossing between Frankfurt and Helsinki, the Gambia's reggae dancehall star -Dr Olugander, is currently warming up for yet another music electrifying project in his giving back to the community project.

Dr Olugander as fondly called is expected to perform at his welcome back party slated for December 21st at the Sere Kunda East Football Ground opposite Buffer Zone. Organized by the Ganders Music Productions, the event will also avail the star to perform in front of multitude of his fans during this much anticipated event. The proceeds from these concerts, reports further indicated, will be donated to the Gambia Organization of the Visually Impaired (GOVI) and the Blind School of the Gambia.

Meanwhile, the star in recent years remains a solid figure in the country's music circle and his ever-growing fans base just unimaginable. As an annual affair, Dr Olugander each year embarked on a tour of Europe after which a mega welcoming back party is organized by his label, follow by a nationwide tour to reach out to multitude of his fans around the provincial Gambia.

In his round down of the Europe tour, Dr Olugander first thank God for making his music stronger than ever before and that he his music continues to attract people each time he mouth the stage. He described his concerts in Europe successful as the shows are well attended positing that they appreciate his music.

Commenting on his Europe concerts, Dr Olugander added that his shows were well attended by different nationalities based in Europe. He then expressed his desire to see the country's youths educated so as to contribute meaningful to national development.

He added "So music as powerful career and means of connecting people I want as a' family. My music is still stronger than before as the motto goes with Gander Production and Olugander. I have been playing shows in Paris, Austria, Germany.

"So we are setting up projects to run things in education, music, sports and agriculture. Because, I live and grow in up in the ghetto so I know how poor people feel, as the saying goes who feels it knows it. I've been through this struggle and have nothing to offer back than to give a helping hand because I know how it feels and that had been my life which I want to continue".

"I have always been original in my style and people appreciate it everywhere I go. Currently, am working on my album project which is not yet done and I have been recording in different studios in Hanover, Cologne and Frankfurt all in Germany and Helsinki as well in Finland".

The versatile singer also disclosed that producers from around the world send him their riddims mostly from places like Argentina, Brazil, Finland, Hanover as well as Cologne for him to create a voice on positing that his door is always open to all upcoming artists in the country. He stated that his mission in Ganders Production is to uplift Gambia's upcoming finest talents. Make it a date and don't afford to miss this great moment.
