Gambia: All Set for JFP Gala Dinner

The stage is set for the much awaited gala dinner organized by the Jammeh foundation for Peace (JFP). A non-profitable organisation initiatedby the president of the Republic, His Excellency, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, this year's event is slated for December 7th, 2012.

The foundation was created mainly to help eradicate poverty among Gambians, improve agricultural production in the country as well providing sponsorship to needy students from all areas of life throughout out the country. It has a hospital that is sponsored by the president and provides medical services to every one irrespective of age, religion, sex and gender or political affiliation

According to the organisers,this year's event is different from the previous ones as the president being the chief patron of the event deem it necessary to organise a kids show schedule for the 8th December 2012 at Dream Park starting at 4pm, tickets costing only D150 for all kids and D250 for those coming with their parents.

Meanwhile, the organiser also wish to announce the arrival of the lead performing artist Saikouba Bambino, a renowned musician beside whom other Gambian artists such as Jaliba Kuyateh, Jali Kebba, Sediou Band, Freaky Joe, Jalex, Samba Bah, Gee, Jali Madi, Badibunka, Bro K, Slam G, Kabakel among others.
