Gaza Strip — Officials from the Hamas militant group's political wing says its exiled leader, Khaled Meshaal, will set foot on Gaza Strip soil for the first time in 45 years on Friday.
Meshaal has not set foot in the Palestinian territories since leaving the West Bank in 1967 and is scheduled to address a mass rally on Saturday.
He will also celebrate the Hamas movement's 25th anniversary on Saturday during his trip to the Palestinian enclave.
