Angola: PGR Clarifies Adriano Parreira's Interdiction of Leaving Country

Luanda — The Attorney General's Office (PGR) stated on Thursday in Luanda that it was confirmed the procedural situation and recorded the new residence, thus ordering to lift the ban on leaving the country by the Angolan citizen Adriano Parreira, Angop has learnt.

The information is contained in a press note that says that the implementation of the order is without any damage of the actions that will continue to be developed by the prosecuting counsel, meant for the full compliance with the obligations that were charged to him by the court.

PGR informs that there was some speculation from a few foreign press on the reasons of interdicting of the exit of the Angolan citizen on December 03, 2012.

The court reminds that Adriano Parreira was judged and condemned to four years in jail by the criminal town council of the high court for illegal possession of goods.
