Angola: Children Represent Continuity of Any Society - State Secretary

Luanda — The Secretary of State for Media, Manuel da Conceição said on Thursday in Luanda that children represent the continuity of any society.

The official said so during the opening act of the seminar on communication, under the motto "With and For Children", taking place at Luanda's Journalist Training Centre (CEFOJOR).

The event is being promoted by the Ministry of Social Communication, through CEFOJOR, in partnership with UNIOCEF and Females Journalists for Gender Equality.

Manuel da Conceição said that the Ministry of Social Communication is receptive to discuss the children's well-being as the guarantee of the continuity of any society.

According to him, the knowledge being shared in this event will represent capacity for the media professionals and thus improve the way to discuss aspects related to directed communication as the sensitive nucleus of family and society.

The event is being attended by journalists of public and private media organs, social institutions, individualities and public in general.
