Angola: Outgoing President Runs for Chess Federation Elections

Luanda — The outgoing president of the Angolan Chess Federation (FAX), Aguinaldo Jaime, will officialise on Friday in Luanda, his candidature for another four-year term (2012-2016), Angop has learnt.

Aguinaldo Jaime also said that he will count on the participation of most of the previous staff, excepting from the secretary-general, Abraão dos Reis, who quits the post due to time availability.

The staff will meet this afternoon to debate on the consensus list, said Aguinaldo Jaime.

The electoral campaign for the elections will start on Friday and will finish on Monday.
