Angola: Luanda Hosts First Children Book Fair

Luanda — The first Great children book fair will be held on 9-12 December in Luanda, under the aegis of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA), aiming to promote the liking for reading and develop intellectually the citizen's capacity, mainly the children.

This was said to Angop on Thursday by the secretary general of UEA, Carmo Neto.

According to him, it will be displayed in the fair different children books, among others.

The fair will be officially be opened on Sunday by the Minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz and it will count of the releasing of books by the Angolan writers Wanhenga Xito and Sónia Gomes, among others.
