Angola: National Football Team's First Control Game Set for Saturday

Lubango — The national senior males football squad, who are on a training programme in the southern Huila Province, will have their first control game this Saturday, with a mixed team from the central Benguela Province.

The Sable Antelopes have been preparing themselves for their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013), which will take place next year in South Africa.

Saturday's control game, which is scheduled for 04.30 pm in Benfica stadium, is also part of the tournament that was organised to celebrate the 56th foundation anniversary of the ruling MPLA party, to be marked on December 10.

Two hours earlier, in the same venue, a mixed team of Huila Province will face a mixed team of Namibe Province, in the ambit of the mentioned tournament.
