Luanda — The chairman of the African Handball Confederation Aremou Mansourou said Thursday in Luanda that Angola's 1º de Agosto club owns sports infrastructures that can be compared with an industry, given its level f organisation.
Aremou Mansourou who is in the country since Wednesday to witness the swearing in of the new board of the Angolan Handball Federation, told reporters that the level of organisation of the club he visited can be compared with that of European clubs.
On the other hand, the official congratulated the newly elected board of the Angolan Handball Federation on their effort to promote the sport in the continent.
He also appealed to Angola to develop its potential in the sport and strengthen cooperation with other countries, in view of its experience.
The new board of the Angolan Handball Federation that followed the election of November 21 this year, took office on Friday evening in Luanda.
