Egypt: NCHR Forms a Fact-Finding Committee to Investigate Presidential Palace Clashes

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) condemned the clashes that broke out Wednesday outside the presidential palace.

In a statement, the Council stressed the right of peaceful demonstration for all political powers and parties, which is guaranteed by all human rights charters. It urged the president of the republic to lead a national dialogue thus leading to achieve the national interest.

NCHR sent a fact-find committee to investigate the clashes and submit a report on the result to the council.
