Members of Sutukoba football committee in URR have on Thursday 29 November benefited from a donation of football materials. The donation has come from a native of Sutukoba residing in Angola in the person of Abdoulie Touray. The donation comprises 46 shirts, 32 shocks, 25 pair of football boots, 24 knee guards, 4 gloves, 2 captain badges and 10 footballs.

The presentation took place at Sutukoba village in the Wuli East district.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Karamo (Mutu) Jabbai said this is the first time they received such a huge donation from a native of the village since the inception of the football committee. Jabai acknowledged the pivotal role played by Abdoulie Touray in developing sports in the village and implored others to emulate. He finally thanked the donor, Abdoulie Touray for his contribution to the development of football in the village.

Mr. Moro Jatta, a senior referee in the village also expressed delight and said this is a step in the right direction. He said Mr. Touray portrayed true love for his village and urged others in the Diaspora to emulate him. He finally asserted that the future of soccer in Sutukoba is bright.
