Angola: Population Clarified About Landmines Danger in Cunene

Ondjiva — At least 3,941 citizens from various zones of the southern Cunene province were sensitized on the landmines danger by the national institute of demining (INAD).

This was said to Angop on Friday by the head of administrative services of this organ.

The explanations of landmine dangers took place between January and November this year and aim at warning the population on the possible dangers of landmines and avoid accidents in these areas.

Fernando Katiavala added that this activity will continue and has a fundamental character for the success of demining and clearance operations.
