Famous composer Ammar al-Sherei passed away on Friday morning at 64 after his health condition deteriorated due to heart problems.
Al-Sherei was born on April 16, 1948 in Minya's Samalout.
His career began in 1970 after he studied music at university.
According to Wikipedia, al-Sherei composed music for more than 150 movies, 150 television series, 20 radio dramas and 10 musicals.
The late composer won several awards including the 1986 Valencia Festival award, Switzerland's Vevey award in 1989 and the Golden Horse award for 17 consecutive years.
