THE Zambia Under-20 netball team today take to the court when they face Namibia in the opening match of the fifth edition of the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa (SCSA) Zone Six Under-20 Games at the National Sports Development Centre (NASDEC).
Zambia under the tutelage of Charles Zulu need to raise the bar higher if they have to beat the record set by the senior team, who lifted bronze at the All Africa Games in Maputo last year.
Six teams are expected to take part in the games that would be played on a round robin basis.
And speaking in an interview, coach Zulu said his team was aiming at winning their first encounter to gain more points.
Zulu said the players have prepared well for the tournament and that the players were going into the game with a positive mind.
In other games, Lesotho will play Botswana, while South Africa will be up against Malawi.
