Kenya: Bandari Trying Out 12 Players for KPL

TWELVE players have been on trial with Mombasa based Bandari FC as they prepare for the Kenya Premier League kick-off in February.

The Kenya Ports Authority sponsored side have cast their net wide and brought on board many players in ongoing trials expected to be concluded next week.

Yesterday Bandari secretary Ben Oloo confirmed they intend to sign players from among others, Mombasa based Division One sides Congo United, Admiral and Magongo Rangers.

"Currently on trial are 12 players from Congo, Admiral, Magongo Rangers, Karuturi and Sony. We are looking for just four players out of the 12 as we aim to stay in the KPL ranks, " Oloo said. Further evaluation will be done after a Kenya Breweries sponsored tournament in Kisumu kicking off next week, Oloo said.
