Asmara — Members of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) residing in Milan city conducted annual meeting. In this connection, they expressed appreciation to the development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland, and voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agenda.

Moreover, the members of the Union heard a report on the implementation of women's training center project in Keren city, which is funded fully by them.

Mr. Rusom Gebregiorgis, Consul General in Milan city, and Mr. Girmai Habtemichael, Head of community affairs in the Eritrean Embassy, lauded the active participation of the women in State affairs.

Meanwhile, Eritrean youths residing in various Italian cities conducted an assessment meeting regarding their second semi-annual activities. The participants of the meeting further conducted discussion on the organization of youth citizens at continental level in Europe.
