Egypt: PM Urges Political Powers to Respond to National Dialogue

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil on Friday urged political powers to respond to President Mohamed Morsi's invitation for holding national dialogue.

The premier warned that the continuation of this deteriorating situation has a negative impact on the country's economy, which had started to recover.

"Everyone should assume their national responsibility in such critical time," Qandil said in a statement.

He stressed respect for the freedom of expression, condemning assaults on individuals or institutions.
