Zimbabwe: MDC Joins Makone Family in Mourning

The MDC family has learnt with sadness the tragic passing on of Miss Nyarai Makone, the youngest daughter to Ian and Theresa Makone.

Miss Makone was found hanging in a room in the family home in Domboshawa yesterday morning in a suspected suicide case. Unfortunately both Ian and Theresa Makone were out of the country on official business when the tragedy happened.

Our prayers are with the Makone family in this period of mourning. Due to this tragedy, the MDC Mashonaland Provincial Council meeting which was scheduled for Sunday the 9th of December 2012 has been postponed to a date to be announced.
