Angola: Head of State Sends Message to Tanzanian Counterpart

Luanda — The Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, sent a letter to his Tanzanian counterpart, Jakaya Kikwete, handed over on Saturday in Dar Es Salaam by the Angolan vice president, Manuel Vicente.

Angop learnt learnt that the letter was handed over during a meeting between the Angolan Vice-president and President of the United Republic of Tanzania at Heads of States and Government extraordinary Summit.

Speaking to the press, Manuel Vicente said that the audience served to hand over the message.

Regarding the summit that is discussing the armed conflict in the DR Congo and political crises in Zimbabwe and Madagascar, the Vice-president of the Republic of Angola reaffirmed the commitment to achieving stability in the Great Lakes region.
