Tanzania: Hip and Joint Specialist Arrives

GOOD news for people suffering from hip, knee and other joint problems as a specialist from Multi-Specialty Shalby Hospital, Ahmedabad from India, Dr Deodhar Shrirang arrives in the country this week to screen people with such problems.

The three-day clinic period will be conducted at Regency Satellite Clinic at Zanaki Street, Kisutu in Dar es Salaam and the specialist will consult those who will be found with joint problems. According to the Regency Chairman, Dr Rajni Kanabar, three days of clinic start on 11th through 13th of this month from 9am to 6pm.

"I call upon all the people with hip, knee and other joint problems to take advantage of this rare opportunity. The arrival of the specialist save expenses perhaps some could spend seeking medication elsewhere," Kanabar said.

He said diagnostic and Screening Clinic of all Orthopedic patients by Knee and Hip replacement will have a chance to meet the specialist from the Largest Joint Replacement centre in India.

Dr Kanabar said that all those who want to consult the Specialist must come with their previous X-Rays/Medical reports. "Only first 200 registered patients will get opportunity to see the specialist, we encourage those with such problems to take this opportunity," he said.
