INCUMBENTS Gulam Rashid and Filbert Bayi retained their positions at the Tanzania Olympic Committee (TOC), after winning the body's elections in Dodoma on Saturday.
Gulam was re-elected the president after scooping 44 votes against 12 of his closest rival Khamis Abdallah Said, while Bayi collected 45 votes against nine of Fredrick Mwakalebela, while Juma Ikangaa, who announced to pull himself out of the race at the eleventh hour managed only one vote.
