Kenya: Huawei Pays KNH Kids Bills

Huawei has donated Sh1 million to Kenyatta National Hospital to offset pediatric wing needy patients' medical bills.

Speaking at KNH, while presenting the cash, Huawei's CEO, Wind Li said the donation was in line with the Christmas spirit to enable the young ones enjoy the festive season with their families.

"As a member of the UN global combat, Huawei is committed to partnerships that will enhance the achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals on health and child mortality," he said.

He promised that his organisation would continue partnering and investing in initiatives that will enrich the lives of Kenyans.

KNH CEO, Richard Lesiyampe thanked Huawei for the goodwill and called on other partners to come on board and support the realisation of a healthy society.
