THE notorious Salgaa black spot on the Nakuru Eldoret highway has claimed another three lives while several are recuperating at the Rift Valley Provincial Hospital.

Salgaa Base Commandant Alex Mumo said the accident occurred after an Easy coach bus which was heading to Nairobi from Malaba hit an oncoming salon car killing its three occupants.

"The incident happened at 1.30pm and by 3pm, we were still trying to remove the bodies from the vehicle," he said.

He said several people in the bus were injured and asked drivers to be extra careful as they drove in that section that has been identified as a black spot because of the many live lost there over the years.
