Some 1,000 Bamako residents marched on Saturday (December 8th) to demand international intervention to reclaim northern Mali, AFP reported.
"We cannot allow half of our country to remain in the hands of criminals. The international community must understand that and help Mali," student and rally participant Hamadoun Diallo said.
The demonstration was called by several political parties.
