Nigeria: Jonathan - My Brother Died of Cardiac Arrest

As hundreds of mourners, a sizeable portion of them high brow Nigerians, joined the First Family in burying the younger brother of President Goodluck Jonathan, Meni, whose cause of death has been revealed as cardiac arrest.

Senate President David Mark, Former military head of state, General Yakubu Gowon and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote were among elite Nigerians who were at Otu-Oke, where Meni Jonathan was laid to rest on Saturday.

President Jonathan, who was later joined by Senate President David Mark who arrived Otuoke in a helicopter at about 12:30, led a funeral procession that bore the corpse from the helipad in Otuoke to the decease's compound, opposite the president's house.
