Angola: First Children Book Fair Starts Sunday

Luanda — The first Great children book fair is being held as from this Sunday until 12 December in Luanda, under the aegis of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA), aiming to promote the liking for reading and develop intellectually the citizen's capacity, mainly the children.

This was said to Angop on Sunday by the secretary general of UEA, Carmo Neto.

According to him, it will be displayed in the fair different children books, among others.

The fair will officially be opened by the Minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz and it will count on the releasing of books by the Angolan writers Wanhenga Xito and Sónia Gomes, among others.
