Egypt: HEC Receives Judges' Names to Supervise Referendum

High Elections Commission (HEC) entrusted with supervision on the referendum on the constitution which is scheduled on 15th December has received members lists of names from different judicial bodies who will supervise the referendum.

The commission under chairman of Cairo's Appeals Court, Samir Abu al-Ma'aty, follows up the referendum process and its associated bodies such as the Ministries of Interior and Education.

A judicial source said that the judges or counselors have the rights to submit clearly causative apologies to the commission not to supervise the referendum.
