Egypt: Qandil Reviews Suez Canal Axis Development Project

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said on Sunday 9/12/2012 that a massive national project to develop Suez Canal axis is ready to be carried out.

The project will attract investments boosting up the Egyptian economy, said the Premier after a meeting with Minister of Housing and Urban Development Tarek Wafiq.

Establishing a logistic region in Suez and a new container terminal to increase the capacity of East Port Said Port and al-Tafreea al-Jadeeda Canal are among ventures that will be discussed next week, Wafiq added.
