Kenya: Consumers Go to Court Over Digital Migration

The Consumer Federation of Kenya has gone to court to block the switch of analogue TV signal to digital by 31st December. Director Stephen Mutoro says the move is expensive to consumers and will certainly lock out millions of Kenyans from following civic education and other important matters related to the general election. He says the timing of the switch off is three years earlier than the global deadline.
