Western Sahara: Coordination of Gdeim Izik Informs Us Delegation of Deteriorating Human Rights Situation in Occupied Western Sahara

Al-Aiun — Coordination of Gdeim Izik has informed US media delegation of the cruel conditions living by the Saharawis in occupied territories, politically, socially and economically.

The US media delegation comprises representatives of International Women's Media Foundation and journalists from US channels, have heard the testimonies about the gross human rights violations perpetrated by Moroccan authorities of occupation in occupied Western Sahara.

The meeting also highlighted the situation of the Saharawi political prisoners as well as workers and retirees of Fospockraa Campany.

In this regard, the Coordination of Geim Izik called for the immediate release of all Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan jails, emphasizing the need for extending the task of MINORSO to include human rights monitoring.
