Egypt: Nation Arrests Benghazi Consulate Attack Suspect

Egyptian authorities arrested a suspect in the deadly assault on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya Herald reported on Saturday (December 8th).

Muhammed Jamal Abu Ahmad, a former Egyptian Islamic Jihad member with alleged ties to al-Qaeda in Iraq and Afghanistan, was captured last week in Cairo.

US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the September 11th assault.
