Angola: Artist Defends Active Participation of Businesspeople in National Culture

Luanda — The Angolan musician Minguety defended Sunday, in Luanda, the need for an active participation of the businesspeople in national culture, particularly in music, with a perspective of divulging it more in the country and the world, so that Angolan cultural identity is always expanded.

Speaking to ANGOP during a sale and autographs signing session of his latest album entitled "Filhos da Nação", the singer said that music has as primary goal the transmission of various artistic and cultural inspiration of artists, bringing to the public the social, economic, political and cultural rights to the whole society.

He stressed that the work "Filhos da Nação" is part of a project of the singer, aimed to support the new wave of artists to elevate the Angolan music to new heights.

The disc with ten tracks was recorded and edited by Chicoth Productions.
