Angola: Football Referees Association Chairman Elected

Sunday in Luanda elected chairman of the Angolan Association of Football Referees (AAFA) for the 2012/2016 period, Angop learned.

Manuel Fernando Rosa was elected with 479 votes from a total of 15 provincial nucleus from the country's 18 provinces.

The provinces of Benguela, Malanje and Huambo remained out of the voting due to communication constraints, it was alleged.

Manuel Rosa is thus replacing Severino Miranda Cardoso "Smica-Filho", who has been proposed to take the AAFA honorary chair, during the general assembly of the organ held on 10 November this year in Luanda.
