Angola: Peasants Get Agricultural Tools in Pambangala

Cela — The Minister of Agriculture, Afonso Pedro Canga, handed over last weekend in Pambangala commune, coastal Kwanza Sul province, a tractor and the respective tools, under the programe for combating poverty.

The tools were handed over to the management of peasant association of "Suku Watava" and also includes 100 ploughs, 10 tons of fertilizers, cutlasses and hoes.

On the occasion, Afonso Pedro Canga said that the executive intends to increase with this exercise the production and thus eradicate hunger and gradually create sustainable food safety.

On his turn, the chairman of the association, José Calunga thanked the gesture of the executive and promised on behalf of the association to increase the production.
