Gambia: Serekunda Central Win At Last

Serekunda Central, who lost their first two games in the ongoing zonals against Bakau and Sukuta respectively, finally registered their first win as they defeated Gunjur 2-0 in a game played at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium.

Mustapha Badjie scored the first goal in the 23rd minute of the game while Sang Gomez got the second in the93rd minute.

Speaking to reporters shortly after the game, the head coach of Gunjur zonal team, Dembo Touray, said the results were not good, as he was out for a win.

The newly appointed coach of Serekunda central, Lamin Saidy, told reporters that he was quite happy with the result.

Saidy, who replaced Ousman Jobe as coach of SK Central, said they will go back and work on their weaknesses for their next games against Brufut and Brikama.
