Gambia: Sukuta Down Bakau 2-1 At West Park

Sukuta Zonal team Sunday beat the Bakau Zonal team 2-1 at the famous Serrekunda West Park in the ongoing GFA Super Nawettan.

The derby game, which was watched by large crowd, among them the Honourable Alhagie Sillah, NAM for Banjul North, saw Sukuta opening the scores in the 8th minutes of the game courtesy of Seedy Saidy's shot from close range. Three minutes later, Bakau equalised through a Lamin Jobe penalty.

The equalising goal made the game more interesting as both teams created more chances, but it was Sukuta who were able to find the back of the net in the 30th minute through Fansu Bojang.
