Gambia: Nemakunku Mosque Committee Appeals for Assistance

The members of the committee of Nemakunku Juffureh Mosque in Nemakunku appeal to the government, the general public, philanthropists and NGOs to help them complete the building of their mosque.

Speaking to this reporter, Imam Cherno Jallow disclosed that the construction of the mosque started since 2008 but is yet to be completed due to financial constraint.

He therefore appealed for assistance to complete the mosque noting that members of the surrounding communities attend congregational and five daily prayers there.

He however acknowledged that some individuals were sponsoring the building of the mosque but that as at now all that have been consumed in the cost of the erection.
