NHLAKANIPHO Ntuli missed a penalty as South - Africa played to a barren draw against Zambia last evening in a Group A match at the on-going Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) Zone Six Youth Games at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
South Africa were awarded the penalty in the 33rd minute following a foul on Bongani Khanyile by Zambia defender Paul Phiri, who earned a yellow card but luckily Ntuli fired his shot wide at goal with Mangani Banda well beaten.
The draw meant South Africa continued enjoying top slot on seven points same as Zambia, who are second by virtue of an inferior goal difference.
"l'Malawi are third with six points.
Zambia will now have to beat Malawi tomorrow to claim a place in the semi finals.
