Angola: Put Away Hatred in Christmas Time, Says Priest

Luanda — Catholic priest João José of the St Francis of Assisi parish, in Luanda's Cazenga Municipality, said Tuesday in Luanda that it is important that during the Christmas period families put away the feeling of division and hatred in the communities.

Speaking to ANGOP, about the festive season, the prelate said that the celebration of Christmas should stimulate in the families a new dimension of love, thus overcoming "all the tendency of the heart towards bad actions that lead to the destruction of humanity".

To him, Christmas must not be seen as a temporary activity, but as a way of life for Angolan families.

"For God to remain in the families it important to know the real dimension of love. We Angolans have good reasons to celebrate Christmas", stressed the priest.
