Angola: Sport Ministry Congratulates 1º De Agosto On African Title of Clubs

Luanda — The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MJD) Tuesday in Luanda congratulated 1º de Agosto club on winning the Cup of African Champion Clubs of male senior basketball held from 29 November to 8 December, in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.

According to the congratulation message, Angola is back once again in the continent's limelight of sport, this time with the win by 1º de Agosto of the seventh title and the 8th for the country.

1º de Agosto won Saturday the 8th continent's title after beating Petro de Luanda by 80-69 in the final of the cup of Clubs.

The Angolan champions Recreativo do Libolo were ranked 5th.
