Nigeria: Increasing Link Between Boko Haram, Al Qaeda Affiliates Worries U.S.

The Unites States Government has expressed concern over the increasing connectivity and collaboration between the network of Al-Qaeda affiliates and adherents in Africa including Boko Haram sect that has been terrorising the northern part of the country.

The Commander, United States African Command (USAFRICOM), Gen Carter Ham stated this Tuesday when he visited the Nigerian Defence College (NDC) Abuja to speak on areas of shared interest and challenges between Nigeria and US.
