Tunisia: President Marzouki Calls Off Bulgaria, Poland Visits

Carthage — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki has decided to call off visits to Bulgaria and Poland, scheduled for December 13, 14 and 15, the Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic said Tuesday.

The two visits were cancelled because of the delicate situation in the country and the worsening of political disagreements and also due to the President's commitment to monitor the efforts made to ease tension between national parties, said the spokesman.

Other dates will be fixed with the two states through diplomatic channels, he added.
