Angola: Vice President Updated On Activities of Oil Company ENI

Luanda — The Angolan Vice President, Manuel Vicente, last Tuesday in Luanda learnt of the activity in Angola of ENI Exploration and Production, during an audience he granted to the executive-director of the Italian oil firm, Cláudio Descalzi.

Speaking briefly to the press, in the end of the audience, Cláudio Descalzi said he informed the Vice President about how the firm is settling in Angola, its projects in Block 15-06 exploration area and discussed the possibility to explore gas for domestic use.

He assured that ENI Exploration and Production has great projects to implement in the Angolan territory.

Cláudio Descalzi also revealed that his firm has been making contacts with the Angolan state-owned Sonangol oil company, aimed at materialising the gas exploration project.

ENI Exploration and Production has been operating in Angola for 35 years.
