Lagos — The six months training program is to prepare the officers for life after service, it was gathered. Addressing newsmen yesterday in Lagos, the commandant of the centre, Air Vice Marshal Moses Akisanmi, said the centre has graduated a total of 40,000 personnel since inception over 50 years ago.
He said the mandate of the centre is to equip retiring personnel with relevant trade and vocational skills to enable them integrate into civil society.
He said the Pan African University (Lagos Business School) is partnering the centre to provide managerial entrepreneurship skills to Armed Forces officers.
The commandant said some of the activities lined up for the passing out ceremony include Juma'at prayer, interdenominational ser-vice and novelty match between trainees and teaching staff.
