A non-governmental organization, Polo Sport Modelling Agency (PSMA), has unfolded strategies to empower women on private enterprise to enable them to be self reliant. The managing partner of the organization, Odafe Atogun, said yesterday in Abuja that the group was determined to assist women excel in their chosen career so that they can give back to the society by training other younger ladies. Atogun also disclosed plans to hold a Miss Polo pageant coming next year with the theme "every girl can rise above poverty with dignity," and polo tournament billed for Port Harcourt in January.
