Angola: National Coach Admits to Summon New Players for Afcon2013

Lubango — The coach of the Angolan national football team, Gustavo Ferrin Tuesday in Lubango, southern Huila province, admitted surprises in the list of players to be summoned for the African Cup of the Nations (AFCON2013), to happen in South Africa from January 10 to February 19.

Gustavo Ferrin said so during a press conference he convened in Lubango, southern Huila province, aimed to to analyse the team's 8-day training session in this region.

He said that the list does not rule out any player because all of them are athletes of the future.

According to him, the team is working for CAN, knockout stage of the world cup in Brazil and CHAN.

"We are working to have local expertise, as required by FIFA", said the coach.

The manager also said that this method will help to define and see whether it will be necessary to summon some players.
